Read the rest of this entry »Intel and Samsung have launched version 1.0 of the new Tizen operating system for smartphones. Tizen is a combination of MeeGo (once developed by Intel and Nokia) and Bada OS from Samsung. The whole system is based on the Linux kernel. Developers can start downloading the Tizen SDK’s, but have to realize there isn’t any Tizen hardware… yet.
Juniper: Samsung Topping the Smartphone Charts
