Read the rest of this entry »Following the recent release of the Tizen SDK’s, Samsung has now started to show off the first hardware running the new Tizen operating system. Tizen is based on Linux and originated from MeeGo (Intel and Nokia) and Bada (Samsung).

Read the rest of this entry »Intel and Samsung have launched version 1.0 of the new Tizen operating system for smartphones. Tizen is a combination of MeeGo (once developed by Intel and Nokia) and Bada OS from Samsung. The whole system is based on the Linux kernel. Developers can start downloading the Tizen SDK’s, but have to realize there isn’t any Tizen hardware… yet.

Read the rest of this entry »To facilitate the release of the Samsung Wave II, the Koreans have prepared the 1.2.0 release of the Bada SDK. 1.2.0 is built for the Wave 525, Wave 533, Wave 575, and Wave 723 and Wave II.

Read the rest of this entry »Samsung UK has uncovered the company’s next Bada phone. The device will be called the Wave 723. We have no clue what the numbers refer to, but it is clear the company wants to continue cashing on the popularity of the first Wave handset.
