Samsung has announced it will start to deploy carrier billing on their Samsung Apps channel. The company will start the phased rollout in the UK and will progress into the rest of Europe.

Samsung has announced that its Samsung Apps channel passed 100 million downloads. Not bad considering the app store mostly supports Windows Mobile, Samsung Bada and internet TV apps.

Microsoft has released an Office branded mobile phone for the Spanish market. The phone runs Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and is a rebranded SonyEricsson Aspen.

In an interview with rgbFilter, Microsoft’s Greg Milligan confirmed that Windows Phone 7 versus Xbox Live Arcade multiplayer functionality is still in the roadmap of Microsoft.
