Yesterday, UPC owner Liberty Global announced a new settop box called Horizon. Though the system is mainly advertised as ‘the’ new way to experience TV, the new box will also hold an App Store.

Nokia has announced a new update for the Ovi App Wizard. The App Wizard is used mainly by non-developers to create Symbian apps based on RSS feeds. Our app is an example of that.

According to PG, Italian developer DS Effects is betting big on HTML5 apps and games for the iOS platform. The Italians have already released over 150 games for HTML5.
Opera Signs Browser Distribution Deal with Vodafone

Vodafone and Opera have announced a collaboration in which Opera Mini 5 will be installed on all low-end, signature handsets. Vodafone will also offer the browser as a download to existing customers.
