It seems the rush for tablets is cooling down a little as tablet sales are expected to drop a massive 30% in the first quarter of 2012. Digitimes calculated the dip in sales based on the number of deliveries from vendors in Taiwan.

At BlackBerry DevCon, RIM announced their newest OS called BBX. A rather unexpected move as most of the world was still expecting QNX (running on the PlayBook) to be ported straight to RIM’s smartphones.

With the release of Creative Suite 5.5, Adobe also announced the release of Flash Builder 4.5. With Flash Builder 4.5, development time of mobile apps should be reduced with 40%.
