CTIA: HTC Follows LG in 3D Smartphones

March 23rd, 2011 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Smartphones & Tablets | No Comments »

Last night at CTIA, HTC launched the HTC Evo for Sprint. The new exclusive model for the telco supports a full 3D screen, similar to that of the Nintendo 3DS handheld console.

The specs of of the new device are pretty good. It holds a 1.2Ghz dualcore CPU, a 960×540 4.3” touchscreen (the amazing size is because each eye only receives half the image) and a Qualcomm Adrino GPU. When variants of this device hit other telco’s is unknown for now.
