Microsoft’s Brandon Watson posted some interesting numbers on Windows Phone 7, that turned one year old today. The SDK has been downloaded 1.5 million times and 36.000 developers subscribed to AppHub.

Last night, Google launched in-app purchases for the Android Market. At the launch of the system, google already managed to get some of the bigger publishers on board.

During the CTIA, HTC presented their HTC EVO 3D device. An android phone with an autostereoscopic 3D screen similar to that of LG’s Optimus 3D and Nintendo’s 3DS.
IDC: Windows Phone 7 Second Largest Platform by 2015

According to new research from IDC, Windows Phone 7 seems to have potential to become the second largest mobile operating system by 2015. Android will have the lead in that year.

Sony Ericsson made an interesting move today as the company announced it will allow consumers to run custom roms on their Xperia (Android) hardware. The company will even be providing the tools.

While Apple only just announced the Wordwide Developers Conference 2011 (WWDC), Apple watchers seem convinced that Apple is not planning to show any new iPhones and iPods at the event.
RIM Confirms Android Support on Playbook

RIM has confirmed that the new BlackBerry Playbook will be able to run Android apps. RIM will deliver two ‘app players’ with the playbook that should make sure the apps run on the tablet.
