Developers Can Block Apple’s Airplay Service

September 20th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

As Apple introduced Airplay, the streaming media service, some developers are stressed out as the service is not covered in the license agreement they have with the composer. There’s a workaround for that.

Airplay is supported with all apps that use the standard media player from Apple. When including a non-standard mediaplayer (like that of the AVFoundation), Airplay will not be supported.
