This week, MGB is volunteering at a campsite to help children of poor families have a fun week in Holland. We will try to keep covering the biggest news, but probably don’t have time for that. We will be back in service on September 6th.

Earlier today we wrote that GetJar entered into a deal with Digi in Malaysia to offer their content directly to DiGi consumers. It turns out, a similar deal is in place with Virgin Mobile India.

Uk broadcaster Channel4 has announced that it is investing £1.000.000 in mobile games with Dundee developers TAG Games and Dynamo. The games will be based on Channel4 IP.

Android developer Keyes Labs has recently released an app called Screebl Pro. As most expect with Android Market apps, the app has been pirated a lot. In fact, there has been so much piracy, this developer decided to create a heatmap.

Gameloft het setup their own dedicated Android shop on their website that allows gamers to freely download trial versions of their games and pay for them when they want more.
